Jewel of the day: India Hicks diamond and sterling silver initial pendants
I like India Hicks’s jewellery; it is clean and spare and very much speaks of the design aesthetic she seems to have inherited from her late father David, a noted interior designer. The prices are probably what you would expect of a quasi-celebrity designer, but I can’t help but wish they were more moderate, especially for sterling silver.
These pendants are a clever interpretation of the classic initial, here multiplied four times to great graphic effect. Hicks offers the designs in various forms (all silver, silver and diamonds, all gold, gold and diamonds). The silver and diamond version here sells for USD $1295 and is available at her online shop.
