Jewel of the day: Louis Vuitton Yayoi Kusama yellow gold and lacquer pumpkin charm
Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama has collaborated with Louis Vuitton to design a range of items (bags, shoes, scarves, sunglasses and jewellery). Her work is based in conceptual art with a strong pop art bent (at least in this collection, which features dots and Op Art looking waves).
This 18k yellow gold pumpkin charm is accented with black lacquer. It is available on the Louis Vuitton stores for USD $7,900, and can be worn as a pendant or on a charm bracelet.
