Jewel of the day: Marie-Helene de Taillac Gold and Multi-Gem Sugar Cube Bracelet

Sugar loaf cuts (which Twist Online is calling sugar cube in this Marie-Helen de Taillac bangle) are a pretty and not often used pointed cabochon looking stone.

Here, she uses them in a buttery 22k yellow gold bangle bracelet. The warmth of the gold almost makes the surface look bloomed, a technique that gives a matte finish. This is set with amethyst, iolite, citrine, peridot, fire opal and tourmaline. It’s a very elegant piece and sells for USD$15,800.
